Fantastic Auction Success

Today Westgate Estates hosted their very own property auction for the first time.

The day was set to be a disaster when early in the morning the venue was discovered to be inaccessible, although credit to the team at The Last Drop, an alternative was made available and then it was just all hands on deck to prepare the room for the start time of 2pm.

In total 38 lots were offered and with five sold in the room added to five properties sold prior and post auction the total tally of ten sales exceeds the target 25% success rate set by the auctioneers.

Lyndon Monks, director of Westgate Estates commented “I am very proud of the response to our very first event. The people of Bolton has been limited one choice of auctioneer for some time and we feel we have brought an exciting addition to the auction circuit. We have taken many positives from today and already have idea’s for subtle improvements. We would like to thank Stephen and his team at Burnsey Real Estate for providing excellent joint marketing”.

There was a buzz around the place as always seems the case at an auction venue and many visitors seemed to enjoy the set up and promised to make a return visit in September, which is when the next event is scheduled.

Anyone interested in any lots can now find a number available at the reserve price on our website.
